I Need the 411 on the AWP

Or in other words, I really would like to hear your thoughts about Alternative Work Plans (AWP), also referred to as Flex-Time.

One of the nice things about posting a blog, is that it allows for two-way communication. Today I am reaching out to you as readers, who span many different services, to provide me and others, feedback on what you have found to be viable solutions in creating a Flex-Time environment, while still providing first-class service. I would also be interested in hearing from those on the corporate side to understand how you feel about Flex-Time from your providers.

In today’s cultural work environment, people’s demands require immediate attention and 24/7 service. How do you reconcile the need for employee’s desire for flexibility with that of corporations and transferees who want and/or need a live voice each time they call? How do we as service providers, come to a win/win solution?

Let’s get the conversation rolling…

Although we realize AWP arrangements are growing and necessary for companies, I'm not sure it would work at a time that our transferees are requesting that they be assigned one primary counselor throughout the process
